During the first half of the day Ben gave a lecture on artists that may inspire or influence our next projects. After I got started on the project I had thought up while I was off school. the idea I had come up with was to deconstruct and reconstruct my bedroom in an animation/ stop motion style. I spent the day messing around on photoshop and animate and trying out different things and experimenting with weird animation techniques. I made the decision not to research how to animate to see if I could find it out through trial and error to teach myself how photoshop and animate work. through this experimentation I realised that instead of peoples bedrooms I wanted to deconstruct peoples faces as I tested my new recovered animation style on pictures I had taken the previous weekend. as I continued to delve deeper into this idea, I wanted to deconstruct multiple peoples faces and leave their eye in the centre or the frame every time. I chose the eye because I realised that the eye Is what we perceive our realities through. that evening I took more pictures of my friends looking straight into the camera in order to find the image that would complete the project.
